What we measure, with whose permission, and how to have it deleted

This page spells out what data LeadCanvas collects while you browse the public site, who receives it, and what you can ask of us. No filler legalese.

Last updated: 3 August 2026

Who is responsible

LeadCanvas is the controller for the data described here. For anything privacy related, write to hola@leadcanvas.app and we answer on the same channel.

What we measure

On the public site we use two tools, and only if you gave us permission:

  • Google Analytics: counts visits and page-to-page navigation. It tells us which content helps and which does not.
  • PostHog: records page views, navigation, and basic interactions so we can understand how the site is used and which content helps.

On what basis

Your consent, and nothing else. Until you accept in the notice at the bottom, the site loads no code from Google Analytics or PostHog at all: it is not that it loads and stays quiet, it is never downloaded.

If you decline, the site works the same. You lose no feature and see no different content.

Where your answer is stored

Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage, together with the date you answered. We do not send it to any server of ours and we keep no record of who accepted: we have no way to tie it back to you.

If you clear the site's browsing data, the answer is gone and the notice appears again.

Who else receives the data

Google (Google Analytics) and PostHog, under their own terms, once you have accepted. We do not sell browsing data and we do not share it with anyone else.

Changing your mind

You can reverse your choice by clearing the site data in your browser: the notice comes back and you can answer again. You can also write to hola@leadcanvas.app and we sort it out with you.

Cookies and storage

This is everything the public site stores in your browser:

WhatWhat forHow long
lc_consent_v1Stores whether you accepted or declined measurement, and the date. It is the only thing stored without prior permission, because it is the record of your decision.Until you clear the site data
Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*)Tell visits and sessions apart for aggregate counting.Up to 2 years
PostHog cookies (ph_*)Maintain the session and first-visit attribution so we can understand navigation after you accept.Up to 1 year or until you clear the site data

Your rights

You can exercise these rights over any data you have left with us:

  • Access: ask us what data we hold tied to your browsing.
  • Rectification: correct anything that is wrong.
  • Erasure: ask us to delete whatever there is.
  • Objection and withdrawal of consent: stop being measured from here on.

Exercise them by writing to hola@leadcanvas.app. We reply to the same address you write from, within 30 days. We ask for no documentation to process it.
