Company search

Describe who you want to sell to. LeadCanvas handles the filter.

You write the type of company or person you are looking for. LeadCanvas reads the query, chooses between Google Maps and LinkedIn based on what you asked for, and shows you the criteria it applied so you can edit them. The full walkthrough lives in company search.

Local businesses, companies and people from a single search.

The right filter is useless if you have to guess it first.

Classic tools expect you to know the category, the industry code, the exact job title and the seniority level up front. Here you start from commercial intent and the platform turns it into criteria you can correct.

Three ways into the same market.

01. Local businesses

Search venues by trade and area, with their contact details.

02. Companies

Search organizations using the professional criteria the source allows.

03. People who decide

Reach the profile by job title, function, company location and whichever filters the source supports.

Results do not close the search: they start it

The first pass is there to read the market, spot the noise and understand how what you are looking for is classified. Only then is it worth researching each account.

Change location, industry, job title or seniority and the search runs again on what you learned, without rebuilding the process from scratch.

One query, two levels of answer

You write: “Software companies for hotels in Spain and their operations leads”.

LeadCanvas splits the problem in two: first it finds the companies that fit, then it looks for operations people inside the accounts you prioritized. Which people show up depends on the source and on each company.

You see the criteria before spending the search

  • Criteria visible and editable
  • Company and person kept separate
  • Company location when the source allows it
  • Current job title and seniority, depending on the search
  • You look at the results before investing in preparing them

How to write a search that brings back what you want.

01

Who

What type of company, business or person you are looking for.

02

Where

The country, region or city where the company is.

03

With which trait

Size, specialty, job title, decision level or available signal.

04

To sell what

What you sell and how it relates to that market.

Broad or strict search? When each one pays off.

A broad search teaches you categories, vocabulary and real volume. A strict one gets closer to your ideal customer, though it can miss companies because of how they are classified. The useful move is to alternate:

  • Launch a first query
  • Look at what kind of results it returned
  • Remove the obvious noise
  • Add synonyms or more locations
  • Split large searches by city, industry or job title
  • Save the version you want to repeat

Which source answers each question?

Business profiles cover local markets and physical venues. Professional data covers organizations, functions and people. The website and the rest of the sources add context only once you have found the account.

LeadCanvas does not promise every source on every search. It picks or combines them depending on the job, tells you which one it used, and keeps the reach of each one visible.

What separates a good search from a long one?

The number of results says nothing on its own. A good search produces a universe you can explain, review and adjust. It lets you answer:

  • Why did these companies come up?
  • Which criterion is adding noise?
  • Which results are missing?
  • Is the location the company's own?
  • Are the job titles still current?
  • Is it worth splitting the market before preparing?
LeadCanvas gives a sales team the context to start with a useful conversation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I write the search in my own words?

Yes. LeadCanvas reads what you wrote and proposes the criteria. You see them, adjust them and only then run the search.

Does it search Google Maps and LinkedIn?

The source depends on the type of search. Local businesses come from business profiles; companies and professional people, from sources compatible with that data.

Does it cover any country?

The product works markets worldwide, but coverage and filters change depending on the source and the query.
